| Booking Conditions |
| These conditions are for the protection, consideration and information of all parties |
| Bookings / Administrative Fee: | Each amendment to the booking after it has been accepted and confirmed will be charged at a fee of €35. |
| Accommodation: | WalkHome WalkAway reserves the right to change your accommodation without notice where deemed necessary. |
| Changes to Programme: | A lot of time and effort goes into planning and producing our programme; we try to ensure that at the time of going to press, all information is correct and accurate. On occasions circumstances may occur that will change the lay out of the programme, this may be down to a number of reasons, weather, path maintenance problems or accommodation changes � we reserve the right to change the programme should such changes occur. Any expenses incurred by a walker because of delay, alteration or curtailment of services provided by a carrier will be the responsibility of the walker. WalkHome WalkAway reserves the right to cancel, or change any tour if it is considered a necessity. If a tour is cancelled due to inadequate numbers we will endeavour to offer an alternative holiday, if this is not possible all monies will be refunded in full without prejudice. |
| Booking Form | Your booking will only be accepted on our booking form Please ensure that all questions are answered carefully and that the writing is clear. Booking form must be signed by the lead name on the form. |
| Payments: | Please make all payments to WalkHome WalkAway � 8 weeks prior to start of holiday account details on booking form. Please note that your deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances. |
| Cancellation Policy: | If you are compelled to cancel your walk, you must notify WalkHome WalkAway in writing immediately. We reserve the right to claim cancellation charges from the date of cancellation notice. Cancellation charges will be charged on the following scales: More than 56 days from start date: Deposit only 35 to 55 days from start date: 30% 15 to 34 days from start date: 50% 14 days to departure day: Nil Refund
To avoid loss of deposit or full balance paid, it is advised that you take out Travel Insurance at the time of booking. *ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING BY POST, FAX, OR E-MAIL, prior to the start date. |
| Equipment: | Please study the equipment list carefully. Some items are essential for the safety and comfort of your holiday. The Guide/Leader reserves the right to refuse a walker on the days walk if the foot wear and general equipment is not suitable and safe. We cannot take responsibility for ill-equipped walkers � neither is it fair on the other members of the group. |
| Singles: | We welcome individual holidaymakers and there is no supplement for those willing to share a two-bedded room with someone of the same sex. We will do our best to book twin-bedded rooms for the singles who are prepared to share but in the event of us not being able to book a twin share, we reserve the right to charge a single supplement. Please note also that there is only a limited number of single rooms available, especially during high season and we cannot guarantee en-suite facilities at all times. |
| Insurance: | 1. We highly recommend that you take out travel insurance for accident, luggage and holiday cancellation cover. We at WalkHome WalkAway cannot be held responsible for injuries/illness to you or damage/loss of your belongings while you are on holidays with us.
2. We require proof of your Personal Liability Insurance at the time of booking. Personal Liability Insurance is compulsory. This is for your protection. |
| Arrivals: | WalkHome WalkAway do not reserve flights/ferries for you. We will advise you on the best travel arrangements and suggest you contact your local travel agents. However we do always ask you to provide us with your arrival details in the country. WalkHome WalkAway are not responsible for missed, cancelled or delay flights/ferries but ask you to inform us immediately of any foreseen delay on your arrival day. |
| Luggage/Suit Cases: | We would ask you to keep your luggage to a minimum. Please bring with you only what you feel you will use/need during your week with us. You should be able to lift your own luggage where applicable. Give consideration to the person you share a room with and the Guide/Driver that has to transport the luggage. Should you be unfortunate enough to lose your luggage on transit or suffer the loss of any other personal items during your holiday you are personally responsible for any additional costs incurred in the recovery of same. |
| Complaints/Grievances: | In the unlikely event that a problem or complaint arises, on a guided holiday please advise your guide immediately. If you are on a Self-guided holiday, call our office or our 24 hour number. All complaints must be registered with the office of WalkHome WalkAway, in writing, no more than 14 days after the completion of your holiday. We cannot process your complaint or claim unless this procedure is adhered to. |
